Genesis10 is currently seeking a SAP Basis Administrator for a contract-to-hire position with a Regional Health Insurance Provider located in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Pay range: $72.50 - $82.50 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Administrator to play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our SAP landscape across both SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and on-premise environments. This senior-level technical leader will drive production operations, solution maintenance, and service management while providing expert-level support for all SAP Basis functions. This position requires night and weekend availability as well as 24x7 on-call support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis and study of customer requirements for new or existing projects to determine feasibility, cost and time required, and compatibility with current systems and hardware capabilities
- Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards
- Develop moderate to highly complex infrastructure interactions to ensure the security, stability, recoverability, and access to systems and information
- Advise on enterprise-wide infrastructure systems growth requirements, capabilities, and constraints to ensure the long-term functionality and operation standards
- Participate in the RFP process to evaluate and select vendor solutions
- Oversee and evaluate the work of contractors and vendors to ensure quality services
- Participate in or lead cross-functional initiatives on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide major installations, upgrades and process changes
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation and diagrams
- Provide technical guidance or mentorship to others as appropriate
- Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise architecture needs
- Perform systems support activities and may include required participation in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Advanced level knowledge of infrastructure design, implementation, administration, planning, developing
- Very strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Highly skilled at systems, creative, critical and analytical thinking, decision making and problem solving
- Advanced level skills at hands-on communication, collaboration and leadership
- Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) - required within 1 year of employment
- Only US Citizens or Green Card holders will be considered for this position
Desired skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with SAP ERP, Basis, Fiori, NetWeaver, Solution Manager, Concur
- HANA Database and HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC)
- Ability to manage Cloud and On-prem components
- Hands on experience with AWS
- Technical Certification Participation in user groups (ACM, IEEE)
