PURPOSE OF POSITION

To provide efficient and effective scheduling support to squadrons.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Vocational or other post-high school training.

Training and Experience:Familiarity withaircraftand weapon system scheduling.Ability to prioritize conflicting requests. Experience working in a dynamic high stress environment. Prior operational schedulingdesired.

General Skills:Must be able to handle multiple tasks, a self-starter, flexible in work assignments, detail oriented, highly organized,possessgood interpersonal and written communication skills, and work under limited supervision.

Computer Skills:Familiarity with normal government software and hardware. Familiarity with FAX and email.Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and Power Point.

Security Clearance:Current security clearance of "Secret"or above.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Build weekly flying schedule shell based onaircraftavailability and update the daily flying schedule.





  • Build and update weekly Predator Mission Training System (PMATS) schedule.





  • Update weekly academic schedule.





  • Attendspecial useairspace meetings, Planning/Coordinating Airspace Restrictions meetings, attend Range scheduling meetingsasrequired.





  • Review flow plans (takeoffs/arrivals)and ensureschedulecomplies withairspacepolicies and rules.





  • Update daily Supervisor of Flying (SOF) and Top 3 schedule and Airspace Flow Management Plan.





  • Update and track unit involvement in exercises such as Red Flag and Air Warrior.





  • Attend weekly maintenance meeting and weekly scheduling meeting.





  • Update weekly flying hour program/correlate sortie length and airspace requirements with syllabus requirements.





  • Perform other incidental and related duties asrequiredand assigned.
