CUSTODIAL TEAM MEMBER

Activities & Responsibilities:

• Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Procedures, Quality Management System (QMS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply, such as OSHA.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.

• Able to take ownership of tasks and duties within the department and hold yourself accountable for such actions.
• Must be self-driven and able to start projects and tasks with little to no supervision.
• Deep clean restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms and offices, including dusting, mopping and vacuuming and cleaning windows.
• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins, disposing of materials properly.
• Perform minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs.
• Safely use industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Monitor and restock inventory, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning chemicals.
• Able to disinfect surfaces, including desktops and shelves.
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down areas for special events or meetings, as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, climb ladders and work at particular heights and handle physical labor.

• Attention to detail, basic maintenance skills, and knowledge of safety protocols.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Knowledge of different cleaning supplies and tools.
• Regular attendance is required.

Education & Experience Requirements:

This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
