Title:Director of Ticketing and Sponsorship Division: President's Office Department: Athletics FLSA Status:Exempt Salary Range: $47,000 - 50,000 Position Summary The University of Southern Indiana is accepting applications forDirector of Ticketing and Sponsorships. Responsible for all aspects of ticketing for the Athletics department. Oversee the management of season ticket holders and manage regular ticket office operations for all Athletics sport programs. Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of ticket management for athletic home game events.
- Promote a positive game day experience for visitors.
- Prepares cash deposits and submits ticket reconciliations for all ticketed events/games.
- Manages all aspects of and serves as primary liaison to external ticketing systems.
- Identifies opportunities and coordinates new ticket sales with businesses and individuals. Implements ticket sales campaigns/initiatives to enhance attendance and engage the community.
- Works as the primary point of contact for guests regarding group sales.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date Screaming Eagle Arena seating chart for home basketball games. Adds, verifies, retrieves, and changes customer or order information, maintaining contact information accuracy.
- Works with the Assistant Director of Athletics for Development to assign seats to new and existing basketball season ticket holders.
- Assist the Director of Athletics with sales calls to current and new Super Sponsors. Follow up on sponsor referrals from coaches, as well as generating own independent referrals, making both joint (with coaches or director) and individual sales calls as appropriate. Responsible for relationship development and "up-selling" with sponsors. Works closely with Director of Athletics to meet or exceed sponsorship revenue budget.
- Assists with the fulfillment of corporate sponsorship contracts related to tickets, groups and special seating.
- Works with coaches, staff and administration to plan and implement ticket sales plans for individual athletic programs.
- Works closely with the Accounting office and Auditors to regularly review and improve ticketing procedures. Conducts periodic audits of customer service procedures to ensure best practices.
- Works within ARMS compliance software for complimentary ticket requests.
- Hires and schedules student workers to assist with game-day ticketing.
- Creates own correspondence, reports and presentations as needed.
- Participate in annual continuing education as required by the NCAA, Conference and/or Institution is required.
- Adhering to all NCAA, Conference, and Institutional rules and regulations is required at all times. All violations must be reported to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Director of Compliance or their designee immediately.

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent oral communication skills required--with high level of clarity for telephone contact and coordination activities and with persuasiveness for sales activities.
- Strong written communication skills required for correspondence with external constituents.
- Knowledge of computers, internet, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Must also be able to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills Master's degree.
One year of related work experience.
Knowledge of AudienceView ticketing software.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
Experience working with businesses and other prospects in the Evansville area is a plus. Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements
Standard office hours fluctuate. Primary work hours are irregular in nature (evenings and weekends). Attendance at all home games, during open box office hours, is required.
