We are hiring a: Senior Systems Service Engineer (SCADA)

[Ireland](Field-Based)

About the role:

In this engineering role, you will deliver and maintain process automation system solutions, with a particular focus on SCADA and process control systems. You will be involved in all phases of project delivery, from gathering user requirements and preparing documentation through application configuration, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

This role involves regular travel to customer sites across the whole of Ireland, typically 4-5 days per week and is well suited to someone who enjoys being on-site, customer-facing, and working in varied industrial environments.

To succeed in this position, you will bring strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

We are seeking a candidate who is based in Ireland.

What You'll Do:

• Liaise with customers to help define system requirements
• Generate detailed system design of automation systems to include enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
• Generate Functional and Test Specifications
• Implement control and SCADA application software
• Carry out system tests
• Provide commissioning assistance
• Working as a team member and ensuring effectiveness of work completion and customer acceptance
• Interface with Technical Support, Field Service and Sales, reporting on follow-up of projects
• Customer site visits for: system start-up and commissioning, technical support.
• Prepared to travel to our customer sites and work the hours to fit in with our customers
• This position may include international travel as needed to support global clients and installations

What You'll need to succeed:

• Proven experience in application and configuration of control and SCADA systems and providing related services.
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems e.g Aveva / Wonderware, iFix and/or other industrial control
• Willingness to travel to our customer sites across whole of Ireland and work the hours to fit in with our customers
• Full driving license is required
• Strong business and technical mind-set
• Good team player and communicator
