We are looking for a Program Quality Engineer to oversee the development of our Quality Management System and Material Review Board (MRB) processes. In this role, you will leverage SAP data analytics, Lean methodologies, and RCCA strategies to eliminate defects and streamline our manufacturing processes. From coordinating with the FAA to influencing senior leadership through KPI reporting, you will be the compelling force behind our operational success. Your Challenges: Quality Management System Support: 60%
- Analyze non-conformities and initiate appropriate corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
- Define and improve the Quality processes within the AHI by identifying Cost of Non-Quality drivers and improving processes in order to reduce defects.
- Generate Key Performance Indicator reports using SAP and other related tools to measure Quality performance and communicate to senior leadership.
- Participate in the Material Review Board to ensure timely correction of Non-conformities
- Support inspection personnel when issues arise in order to determine root cause and corrective action.
- Review, develop, and analyze dashboards and visual management tools to identify deficiencies in the quality system
- Compile and analyze statistical data for non-conformities, Key Performance Indicators and other quality department metrics to identify trends, problem areas and give feedback to implement appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve the quality management system
- Monitor digital platform for collection and archiving reports for FOD, housekeeping, tool inventories, lost tools and lost item
- Support Inspection personnel on SAP / Nonconformity Management (NCM) data analysis and quality implementation processes and issues that arise due to discrepancies
- Create, Review and update company manuals, policies, procedures and forms to improve and streamline company processes
- Implement and supervise inspection plans and test processes to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
Continuous Improvement: 25%
- Use and train others on PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action).
- Act as primary Quality interface to resolve system, product, and design defects received at AHI.
- Ensure qualified suppliers are being used, and coordinate improvement processes with Supply Chain Quality Managers for low performing suppliers.
- Supervise the generation and handling of FAIs within AHI and suppliers, as applicable.
- Apply processes and metrics such as, but not limited to SQCDP, key performance indicators, practical problem solving (PPS), plan do check act (PDCA), root cause and corrective action and other quality department metrics to support continuous improvement of company policies, procedures, and processes ensuring that company objectives are on target
- Suggest and implement changes in working conditions, and use of equipment to increase the efficiency, safety and quality of department and work crew

- Prepare audit checklists and support internal audits of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory authorities and maintain external audit readiness
- Coordinate with FAA and AS9100 authorities during audit preparation, audit execution, and maintenance of the Quality System surveillance.
- Assist with coordination to external regulatory authorities (FAA, AS9100).
- Ensure validation and surveillance of Special Processes applied at AHI.
- Ensure the implementation of customer and Type Design Holder requirements in the Quality System.
Your Boarding Pass:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in field of technology, aviation, engineering, business, manufacturing or related experience
- 5 years in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment, quality, industrial manufacturing or engineering
- Knowledge of FAA Regulations
- Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Requirements and Systems
- Data Collection, Analysis and Report Creation, Technical knowledge of Airbus Products/Programs and Individual and/or Group Facilitation
- Advanced Digital Literacy
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Google Suite
Preferred Education/Skills:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Technology, Aerospace, Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
- AS9100 Auditor Experience
- 5 years in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment, quality, industrial manufacturing or engineering
- AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
- ASQ Quality Engineer Certificate
- FAA A&P
