Utility Machine Operator

Position Summary: Set up and/or operate: pallet jack, boring machines, miter saw, slotter machine, Pade profiler, single/double head profiler, Pade round end tenon, Balestrini tenon, Camam corner block, Rotary shaper, SCMI router, Double head shaper, Double end trim/bore, Team Balestrini, MIA Balestrini, MZ CNC bandsaw, spindle carver, Nichols block machine. Also assist in off loading the prior listed machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates machines due to production needs.
• Examines frame ticket to determine what wood panels/parts are needed and quanity needed. Selects, installs, aligns, and adjusts cutterheads, forms, jigs needed to achieve proper quality/tolerances guides, using hand tools.
• Measures shaped stock to verify size and quantity needed is produced using rulers and/or tape measure.
• May also hold and push stock into cutterheads without aid of jig or guide.
• May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
