Job Description

Position Summary

Collaborates with FP&A group and other departments to quantify the financial impacts of business activity for the utility, its parent, and affiliates. Assists in the updates and maintenance of planning models and tracking files, reports key data on an ongoing basis, and monitors the updates submitted by other departments.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Assists in the maintenance and updating of financial planning systems and tracking files in development of ongoing budget and forecasts

* Assists development of the annual budgeting and five-year financial planning process and management reporting.

* Coordinates and prepares components of business drivers for budget/forecast updates and reports on actual performance relative to budget, outlooks and prior periods.

* Aggregates inputs from business owners and validates financial results

* Works with other departments needed to estimate the impact of proposed changes in the business

* Update reports and data sets for use by business departments and finance to summarize or explain financial results and track key metrics of operational performance

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or another related quantitative discipline.

* 0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

* Coursework and/or experience in forecasting, budgeting, or related financial analysis work.

* Demonstrated ability to establish rapport, develop effective working relationships and work within a team environment.

* Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.

* Ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office and business analysis tools, for data management, research, analysis, and reporting purposes.

* Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, and to identify relevant issues in solving business problems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $66,000 to $95,700 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
