What You'll Do Day-To-Day

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Intern to join our Human Resources team in Lynchburg, Virginia. This internship designed for a rising junior or senior interested in gaining hands-on experience in recruiting, early career engagement, and workforce development.

This opportunity is ideal for a local student interested in Human Resources or Talent Management who wants to build practical experience while supporting meaningful initiatives related to hiring and developing future talent. We anticipate this being a multi-semester opportunity for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities may include:

    Assisting with campus recruiting activities and student engagement initiatives
  • Supporting recruiting operations and maintaining candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Assisting with reporting, recruiting metrics, and talent insights
  • Supporting workforce development and early career initiatives


What You'll Bring

  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
  • Local to the Lynchburg area and able to work in person
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in recruiting, talent management, or workforce development
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication, and a passion for innovation in clean, safe energy.
  • The internship is expected to require approximately 15-20 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility around academic commitments. Contribute to the planning and execution of team initiatives.

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $20.00 hourly, with the opportunity to receive performance bonuses.
