Job Title: Paralegal II. Location: Austin, TX. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to support our patent filing and prosecution activities. This role works closely with in-house counsel, outside counsel, inventors, and global IP teams to ensure high quality, timely U.S. and international patent filings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file U.S. provisional, non-provisional, continuation, and divisional applications. Coordinate formal documents, including declarations, assignments, and powers of attorney. Support PCT and foreign national phase filings and maintain accurate records in IP docketing systems. Manage USPTO and foreign filing deadlines, docket updates, and reporting. Assist with IDS preparation, office action management, and inventor/outside counsel communications. Qualifications: 3 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or in-house IP department (Paralegal Certification a plus). Strong knowledge of USPTO procedures and patent prosecution workflows. Experience with foreign filings and IP docketing systems (ANAQUA a plus). Exceptional attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills and experience supporting inventors and attorneys. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
