Sigma Defense is seeking a Ballistic Missile Defense Commander/Operations Manager to support our team in San Diego, CA.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years' AD/BMD Mission Area experience as a qualified Tactical Action Officer (TAO), BMD Watch Officer, or CSC N0024426FS056.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the following areas:
    • Serving onboard an AEGIS DDG and or CG.
    • Scenario development/training/operation experience with Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF); Multi-System Automated Remote-Control Interface (MARCI).
    • Tactical Data Information Link generation systems supporting LOS Link 11(A)/16J, Satellite-J, Link 16, Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M); Tactical Voice/Data Communications.
    • Naval Warfare Specialist: Warfare experience in implementation of Task Group Concept as an Air Defense Warfare Commander (AMDC/W), or as a senior staff member for a Task Group/Force Commander, or as a Senior Facilitator with equivalent experience training warfare commanders or senior staff members.
    • Naval Warfare operations or conducting training for naval warfare or equivalent joint experience.
  • Knowledge of:
    • The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM)
    • Composite Warfare Commander construct
    • Command and Control, regarding surveillance, engagement, and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets
    • Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures
    • Fleet Synthetic Training architecture

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
