Overview

To provide full life cycle digital media production services and consultation in support of company-wide events, programs and campaigns. Responsible for creation of digital content from concept to delivery including video, audio and photographic needs. Work directly with clients in the planning of activities relating to the production of videos and photo projects to fulfill client digital media needs. Serve as subject matter expert to provide advanced digital media support and consultation on technical, operational, and aesthetic use of multimedia equipment. Lead and assist in leading complex/varied tasks with considerable impact requiring advanced analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-production work to include developing video concepts, collaborating with writers on scripts and storyboarding, and scouting and preparing site locations or studio environment
  • Serve as producer which includes organizing talent and coordinating crew in the setup of cameras, audio, lighting and communications for field and studio productions
  • Plan and perform video post-production tasks which includes reviewing footage, digitizing and tape logging, making editorial decisions, video and sound edits, rough cuts, audio mixing, color correction, and final finishing
  • Collaborate with Communications team and participate in meetings with clients to provide expertise on presentation methods and options to develop an engaging product
  • Plan and lead advanced sound, lighting, and video set-up and services for large scale, high priority meetings, special events and presentations to include: sound board/mixing, video-recording requiring post production, photography
  • Lead development and implementation of multimedia projects
  • Serve as a corporate photographer for both studio and location photography
  • Provide administrative and ad-hoc audio visual support
  • Collect, organize, and archive multimedia library
  • Maintain multimedia equipment, peripherals, cabling, and security
  • Administer maintenance agreements with manufacturers and vendors
  • Perform needs-assessment to determine current and future equipment requirements and make recommendations for budgeting and procuring equipment and tools
  • Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit &/or across the organization
  • Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met
  • Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with Navy Federal goals and capabilities
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals
  • Performs other duties as required or appropriate
  • Work may be performed outside of normal working hours.
  • Must attend meetings and/or special events requiring multimedia support.
  • Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in professional multimedia design, integration, staging, and operation, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Significant experience in videography, sound production, and non-linear editing with production software
  • Significant experience in using digital cameras and photo editing software to create photo end products
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely
  • Significant experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects
  • Significant experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
  • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
