Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Qualifications for Employment:

Education (Minimum Requirements):

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or other related field from an accredited college or university, with finance or business emphasis. Five years of responsible experience in accounting or finance and related financial systems. Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and supervisory skills required. Must be able to work weekends and evenings and have strong working knowledge of best practices in the field. Knowledge of fiscal operations at a college or other educational institution preferred. Relevant Master's degree from an accredited college or university and accounting experience with Higher Education preferred. Managerial experience in related areas preferred, i.e. HVAC, fire code, maintenance management.

Nature and Scope of Duties:

The Coordinator of Budget and Administrative Services reports to the CDEOC Executive Director or their designee and performs the following duties:

Provide fiscal oversight of the annual state operating budget and all grant funded projects.

Prepare and provide ongoing analysis of all fiscal reports.

Assist the Executive Director and EOC Senior Staff in developing the Center, functional unit and budgets relative to State funded projects.

Supervise Business Services and Operations staff, inclusive of responsibility for staff development, professional program development, performance and appraisals.

Review operational protocols for security with security vendor and College Public Safety, and custodial staff.

Oversees Center operations involving functional activities related to financial services, security, physical plant, IT, and reception.

Responsible for overseeing the effective operation and maintenance of all buildings, equipment, and systems including responsibility for the housekeeping, maintenance, operations, contractual services, security and proper care and upkeep of center facilities, health and safety, vehicles, infrastructure, and systems.

Schedule Room use for Center, execute set up and clean up and attend all events.

Keeps Executive Director and other EOC senior staff informed of departmental activities.

Participate in the SUNY University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD) Finance Committee and attend other related meetings as requested.

This is a full-time 12-month position with a salary of $80,000.00 - $90,000.00.
