Job Overview:

The commercial excellence manager will own CRM roadmap within the Precision Technologies business unit and work with business and technical stakeholders to align on priorities. They will establish key performance indicators and targets while enabling commercial teams with visibility and dashboards to drive compliance and performance improvements. The role operates at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience, ensuring consistent adoption of commercial standards, pipeline accuracy, and operating excellence that drives a winning customer experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive global commercial excellence through data, insights, and governance: Define KPI and forecasting architectures; ensure SFDC accuracy, governance, and adoption; build executive dashboards and performance review rhythms; and establish global benchmarking practices to identify, codify, and scale best-performing behaviors.

  • Enhance revenue visibility and predictability: Build strategic forecasting and pipeline models across regions, segments, and product lines; develop scalable reporting for pipeline health, win/loss patterns, leading indicators, and risk signals; and standardize tracking of consumption, aftermarket parts, recurring programs, renewals, and churn dynamics.

  • Strengthen recurring revenue performance and growth systems: Define renewal workflows and create retention, upsell, and cross-sell playbooks; establish end-to-end processes that improve execution across renewal, expansion, and consumption motions while enabling clearer insight into performance drivers and opportunities.

  • SFDC Accuracy, Governance & Adoption: Establish the global governance model, activity expectations, data quality rules (what good looks like), and compliance cadence that ensure forecasting accuracy and reliable revenue visibility

  • Build both leadership level performance dashboards and daily work reports and dashboard framework for sales managers to efficiently plan their priorities and see the most critical leads/funnel/accounts for immediate action and maximize their time over the next 1/7/30 days.

  • Set CRM strategic roadmap and prioritize with the business by align stakeholders on CRM priorities that drive growth and predictable revenue, secure buy-in for the roadmap, and ensure visibility into outcomes. Work with central SFDC and IT teams to implement roadmap.

  • Translate business needs into an executable roadmap: Partner with technical teams and adjacent system owners (ERP, CPQ, engineering systems, ecommerce) to sequence capabilities (e.g., quoting, attribution, integrations, automation), and gain alignment with business and central team to manage resourcing, and implementation to deliver successful projects.

  • Enable high-impact execution across internal teams and distributors: Develop modular, scalable learning programs tailored to roles; strengthen distributor performance through onboarding, funnel standards, and scorecards; and equip all commercial stakeholders with the skills, processes, and tools needed to improve pipeline quality, velocity, and accountability.

  • Own the commercial systems and data foundation: Serve as business owner/co-owner for Salesforce.com and CRM; define requirements with IT; establish governance for account hierarchies, data quality, customer classification, and routing; and partner with Central Data/IT functions to advance a unified customer golden record that supports global workflows and visibility.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing with expertise in Salesforce



Core Competencies:


  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, funnel management, and commercial execution

  • Expertise in Salesforce (data governance, reporting, analytics, dashboards). No coding experience required, but ability to setup reports, dashboards required.

  • Technical experience with all types of reporting in Salesforce, dashboards and possibilities and limitation of Salesforce objects.

  • Ability to translate insights into process improvements and commercial actions

  • Cross-functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Product, Channel, IT

  • Training design, enablement content creation, and curriculum development

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities

  • Comfort with global matrixed environments and multi-brand complexity



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • This position is remote near preferred office locations: Ivyland, PA; Davidson, NC; or Mooresville, NC

  • Occasional travel to office for meetings, trainings, or other onsite events.



Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000, excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
