Job Overview:
- In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement and distribution) and a superior understanding of manufacturing material flow in a plant.
- Possess a strong customer service orientation and provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements.
- Proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment while leveraging lean methodologies.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and to interact with various departments throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between plant materials team and engineering to support new product development launches (NPD) and innovate to value (i2V) projects.
- Manage all phase in/phase out (PIPO) activities as they relate to NPD/i2V in order to support projects launching on time and minimizing obsolete inventory.
- Drive reduction in Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory through collaboration with product management, sales, engineering, sourcing, etc., define root causes of E&O and drive process improvements to reduce future flow.
- Develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Oracle ERP system to help identify systemic issues, troubleshoot planning parameters, forecast and material drive, etc. in order to support inventory optimization efforts.
- Support Material Planning Manager on analysis of stocking strategies across all value streams, including safety stocks, replenishment methods, days of supply, fixed days of supply etc.
- Participate as a core team member in annual Physical Inventory (PI) efforts, planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or related field
- Must have at least 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Materials Management, preferably in industrial industry
Preferences:
- Problem solving capabilities and data analysis
- Strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.
- High proficiency in Excel
