Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Inspector to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responds to and perform service calls/requests.
• Apply solutions to system problems and/or advise Customer of repair options; may require coordination with Service Coordination Team and applicable Sales Consultant.
• Provides timely status updates on service calls.
• Required to learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of customer (s) needs, wants and systems infrastructure relating to access control and video systems.
• Responsible for performing self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications.
• Responsible for completing reports information on service tickets.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, programming, testing and end-user training for access control and video systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in one of the following areas: Cisco CCNA, A+, Microsoft Professional or Networking (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Server DBA (MCDBA)
• Two to four years' experience with demonstrated electronics with a mechanical aptitude.
• Familiar with an analog/digital multi-meter.
