Senior Director, People Partner

Procore
United States, Texas, Austin
221 West 6th Street (Show on map)
Mar 17, 2026

Procore is looking for a Director or Sr Director, People Partner to serve as a strategic partner and collaborator for our G&A functions, specifically Finance, Human Resources, and Legal. This isn't just an advisory role; it's for a leader who treats our business like their own. You will work directly with the CFO, CLO, and CPO to ensure their organizations have the talent, structure, and internal health necessary to support Procore's long-term goals.

The Sr Director, People Partner reports to the VP of People Partners and Insights, focusing on using clear logic and data to drive how we develop, organize, and retain our people.

What you'll do:

  • Business Integration: Take the time to deeply understand Procore's financial drivers and business plans. You will translate these objectives into practical talent strategies that move the needle for the G&A teams.

  • Data-Informed Strategy: Look beyond internal metrics. You'll use industry trends and external benchmarks to challenge the status quo and provide an informed point of view on how we compare to the market.

  • Organizational Transformation: Partner with leaders to design teams that are efficient and scalable. This includes planning for future skills, redesigning roles to account for technology shifts like AI, leadership succession, and making sure our global footprint aligns with our budget and goals.

  • High-Level Coaching: Act as a candid, trusted peer to senior executives. You'll provide the perspective they need to grow as leaders and manage their teams through change.

  • Collaborative Execution: Work across the People team (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to ensure that global programs-like performance cycles and rewards-are rolled out in a way that makes sense for the unique needs of Finance and Legal.

What we're looking for:

  • Practical Experience: You have 12+ years of experience in Human Resources or Business Operations. You've ideally spent time both in the "line" (partnering with the business) and in specialized "center" roles.

  • Business Acumen: You are comfortable looking at financials and understanding how people-related decisions impact the organization's ability to achieve operating targets.

  • Complexity Management: You have a track record of working in fast-paced, matrixed SaaS environments where you've had to balance long-term vision with immediate, pragmatic needs.

  • Communication: You can tell a story with data. You speak clearly, listen well, and can adapt your style to be effective with a CFO or a junior team member.
