Pay: $25 per hour

Shift: 6pm-6am

Rotating shift Sun-Wed & Wed-Sat

Area of Responsibility:




  • Supervise and provide guidance to other technicians in performing tasks.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to schedule activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Train other Utility Tech personnel on proper procedures.
  • Assist with other Utility Tech tasks as needed.


  • Ensures vendor electricians follow checklists for de-energizing and re-energizing.
  • Observes and monitors vendor mechanics, who install, repair, maintain, operate, and test ventilation equipment and associated controls. Ensures vendor mechanics follow coordination protocols with end users and confirm temperature controls are effective, and mechanical systems meet intended functionality.
  • Monitors and evaluates fire alarm vendors who install, inspect, test, commission, repair, and maintain fire alarm equipment including alarm, detection, notification, sprinkler monitoring, reporting, and controls for agent releasing suppression.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports.
  • Assist in developing product specifications and maintain effective working and liaison relationship with production operations.
  • As necessary, perform crew work including the operation of all types of motorized equipment; may operate equipment during training or emergency situations
  • Ensure safety and professional work standards are met; plan, organize, and prioritize tasks


Education Level and/or Relevant Experience:



  • 2+ years of work experience preferred
  • HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
  • Knowledge of control room operations
  • Basic electrical and controls for troubleshooting operations
  • Safe work proactive and hazard assessment
  • Mechanical maintenance of Air handling, pumps, motors, valve operations and controls preferred
  • Good team Dynamics
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
