We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research.
Position Summary
- Provide day-to-day program/project administration and associated business functions; manage scheduling for programs and events; working closely with undergraduate and graduate Research Assistants; serve as primary point of contact for programs/initiatives; coordinate Interviewers' scheduling; maintain up-to-date records related to programs/initiatives; liaise with community partners, stakeholders, and study participants; identify recruitment sites; communicate with stakeholders and program participants; monitor subject compensation; provide weekly project updates; collecting data for program assessment; implementing quality improvement measures; and participate in team meetings as needed.
- Contribute to the completion of study start-up activities and project planning, including development of materials and coordination of activities.
- Assist with the development of standard operating procedures to promote quality assurance and standardized best practices.
- Create source documentation, checklists, and/or other resources to aid with compliant data collection.
- Independently provide consultation about project related matters with study sponsors, regulatory authorities, administrative units, and UNC-CH offices. Escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
- Able to be in-person three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Track and follow up, professionally, with PIs, sponsors, UNC administrator units, and other external entities
