| Position Purpose |
To provide financial and administrative management and analysis for several complex operating and project budgets, including multiple funding sources, multi-site research projects, or program projects. Applies a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of financial and grants management in the accomplishment of financial and administrative activities. |

Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience |

- A Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting, budget, or grant management.
- Excellent accounting, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in database management, spreadsheets, and other computer software.
- Experience required to manage complex research projects financially.
- Work effectively, independently, and as a member of a team, and be flexible and open to change.
- Plan work, set priorities, and respond to pressures, deadlines, and changes in schedules and priorities.
- Exercise judgment, initiative, and interact with faculty, personnel, and outside agencies professionally.
- Maintain and foster confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to create advanced Excel spreadsheets.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in not-for-profit accounting and grants management in an educational and/or research setting.
- Familiarity with Dartmouth College or similar higher education systems and procedures.
