| Duties & Responsibilities |
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver materials to course learning objectives in a primarily online professional development program.
- Hold class as scheduled during the semester in which the course is taught.
- Assign homework, hold office hours, and provide project feedback.
- Organize course material in the D2L online management system.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- PhD in mining engineering, geology, applied geophysics or closely related field.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Teaching experience in a mining engineering, geology or related program or relevant professional experience.
- Strong commitment to teaching at the University of Arizona, and to student engagement.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
