ABOUT THE ROLE

The Broadcast Traffic Manager supports the daily operational management of network advertising and promotional campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Network Operations, this role is responsible for overseeing all business aspects of the Broadview traffic system with accuracy and precision. You will manage order entry, optimize ad placement, produce weekly pre-log and as-run reports, and maintain close coordination with our third-party sales partner, Worldlink. This role also supports program template and playlist creation within Broadview and serves as backup scheduler in Amagi.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the placement of daily and weekly ad traffic

  • Ensure quality control for dayparting and separation compliance

  • Optimize ad spot placement to maximize revenue and client performance

  • Serve as liaison between Ad Operations, Production, and Master Control for all broadcast traffic placements

  • Oversee recurring internal and external reporting, including pre-log and as-run reports

  • Provide administrative data-entry support for system maintenance (process cancellations, archive expired inputs, monitor support tickets, etc.)

  • Support reconciliation processes and manage system updates to resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and pre-empts

  • Assist with ad contract and copy data entry during high-volume periods

  • Partner with the Network Operations Manager to build program templates and playlists in Broadview

  • Train as backup scheduler in Amagi broadcast software

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3+ years of experience in broadcast traffic and/or programming operations

  • 2+ years of experience with Broadview software or a similar broadcast management system

  • Experience using SQL

  • Strong understanding of advertising workflows and broadcast software systems

  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize urgent tasks, and consistently meet deadlines

  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and operational demands

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience working with third-party sales partners

  • Familiarity with Amagi program scheduling

  • Experience supporting ad reconciliation and revenue optimization workflows

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
