Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Temporary Order Fulfillment Specialist to support our Customer Service team. The primary responsibilities include accurately processing customer orders, ensuring timely data entry, and coordinating with internal teams to guarantee seamless order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely delivery of orders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process customer orders in the system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and verify order details to ensure all data is entered correctly.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping teams to confirm order fulfillment timelines.
- Monitor order statuses and address discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates, delays, or clarifications as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines during order processing.
- Assist with inventory management and make necessary system adjustments.
- Collaborate with the billing and finance team to resolve any invoicing issues related to orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with order processing software (e.g., QuickBooks) preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Temporary position until mid-January, with the possibility of extension.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an open office environment.
- Ability to sit, type, and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds.
