Job DescriptionPurpose: The Engineering Manufacturing Technicianactively partnerswith the business to provideexpertisein driving manufacturing excellencethrough support and execution. Core Functions of Position: Technical Support(50%):Performs scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on specialty equipment at the Metal Casting Facility.This includesmullers, plant robotics, generators,Disamatch,infraredinspectionsand electrical controls upkeep.Assistsvendors and contractors on scheduled maintenance repairs and buildsknowledge base for ownership in the future.Assists Zurich with insuranceand risk assessments and formulates plans to address findings.Troubleshootsall specialty equipment when needed involving production or safety automated systemsand performs some repair.Participates on various safety and machine guarding committees as an active partner who will address findings and engineering control implementations.Performs detailed troubleshooting analysis on roboticequipment andformulates solutions. Machine Programming(20%):Troubleshoots andmaintainsprogramming MCFindustrial controlson production and specialty equipmentspanning Kuka, Foxall,and various PLCs. Maintains knowledge of safety automated systems and providesprogrammingassistancewhere needed.Assistscontractors currently performing programmingduties andpreparesto own function in the future. Project Assistant(20%):Assists engineering and operations team in the implementation ofnew equipment, serving asa knowledge resourceinproject formulation, partnering with contractorsthroughout implementationprocessand owningmaintenance plan after installation.Provideshands onand technicaloversite onequipment retrofits and upgrades. Manufacturing Execution (10%):Facilitatesan infrastructurethat pulls manufacturing data, processes theinformation,and deliversactionable feedback totheoperations team. QualificationsTechnical Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite. Education & Experience: Required: -5 Years' Manufacturing Experience with emphasis in electrical controls.
