Job Description

This role is based in our 605 Third Avenue office.

We are looking for aSenior Show Operations Manager-Finovate, Fintech Americas and Fintech Futuresto join our team in New York as part of our Operations function.

The Senior Show Operations Manager role will sit within theFintech Operations Team to manage the efficient and creative operational delivery of the FinTech vertical's brands includingFinovate, Fintech Americas and Fintech Futures.The ideal candidate will be a strong operational lead, driving the critical path and ensuring strong relationshipand teammanagement throughout the show cycle. This role is pivotal not only in the preparation phase but also during the on-site delivery of the event, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.The role requires a balance of strategic focus and hands-on involvement in operational delivery. The preferred applicant willdemonstratestrong experiencein executing tasks while driving overall direction and leadership to achieve businessobjectives.

In addition to key responsibilitieson the above brands, as the Senior ShowOperationsManager, you will play a crucial supporting role across allFintech verticalevents globally.This position will require flexibility and a willingness to travel throughout the year toassistwith the operational needs of other shows, ensuring consistency in delivery andmaintainingthehigh standardsexpected across allFinTechevents

Key accountabilities

  • Lead the operational delivery ofFinovate, FinTech Americas, and FinTech Futures events by devising and managing end-to-end operational plans, ensuring resource efficiency andfulfilmentof event strategy and commercial contracts.
  • Ensure seamless planning, build-up, open days, and breakdown of the event in collaboration with the wider operations team, procurement, and event suppliers.
  • Formulate and control the operational budgets and inventory in partnership with theVP of ShowOperations, the ShowSVPand the finance team.
  • Oversee the show floorplan management, ensuring navigation, density, and venue compliance whilemaintainingeffective control and monitoring of health and safety standards.
  • Be a strategic partner tokey stakeholders, including the Show SVP, sales, creative, content, and marketing teams, to develop and deliver commercial inventory, achieve business targets, ensure high customer service, and flawlessly meet onsite requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the procurement team to secure suppliers for full event requirements, ensuring strong relationships are developed andmaintained.
  • Ensureclear understanding of the content strategy for each event, ensuring the content operations leadhas the processes and resources in place for successful delivery of this
  • Responsible for the seamless and innovative execution of sponsorship operations, delivering exceptional white-glove service to clients while adapting to solutions that align with businessobjectivesand client expectations to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and deliverables of the operations team forFinovate, FinTech Americas and Fintech Futures,fostering growth and performance.
  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives, such as sustainability and process improvement, in collaboration with theVPof Show Operations to develop and apply best practices withinthisoperationsteam
  • supports shows across different time zones, alternative work hours will berequired, as necessary
  • onsite delivery able to travel, including but not limited to Singapore, Thailand, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years proven large-scale international event experience at operations manager level, essential.
  • Able to take an innovative, customer-centricand global approach to all aspects of the role - strategy, planning, and operational execution.
  • Strong planning,prioritisationand implementation skills with a focus on detail.
  • Able to think creatively andcome up withbespoke ideas.
  • Negotiation and financial/budget management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating andmaintainingpositive and productive relationships with diverse business partners in a highly matrixed organisation.
  • Aself starterwhois able towork independently, and under pressure, while consistently exercising sound judgement even when faced with ambiguity.
  • Office attendance is essential. Current pattern is 3 days a week, subject to change.
  • As this role supports shows across different time zones, alternative work hours will berequired, as necessary
  • Professional Fluency in Spanish

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$110,000, based on experience.
