What to Expect
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Wireless Network Engineer to lead the design, architecture, deployment, and optimization of enterprise wireless networks. This role servers as a technical leader responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance Wi-Fi environments across factories, warehouses, and offices. The candidate should combine deep wireless expertise with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Network Architects on wireless design and initiatives, including performing wireless capacity planning, predictive modeling, and RF design
- Work closely with IT Security on wireless security policies
- Maintain current wireless solution within manufacturing, warehouse, and workplace environments
- Function as a Tier-2/3 escalation point, leading root cause analysis for major network incidents
- Coordinate and lead on implementation of new wireless services
- Collaborate with Vehicle and Bot Connectivity Engineering and evaluate new wireless technologies (Wi-Fi 6E/7/etc.)
- Ensure wireless regulations and legal requirements are maintained
- Design, monitor, analyze, and report metrics of wireless solution
- Analyze packet captures, RF interference, roaming behavior, and client performance
- Develop wireless standards, design patterns, and best practices across the organization
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in wireless solution with IEEE 802.11 standards, encryption, WIDS, rogue detection, 802.1x, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, wireless client chipset/driver, RF engineering for wireless planning, along with multi-vendor technologies including Juniper Mist wireless, Aruba controller (AOS8), Cisco Meraki wireless, Aruba ClearPass, and Splunk
- Experience with WiFi 6/6E deployments and high-density environments
- Experiencing support IoT and wireless analytics platforms
- Extensive experience with various wireless tools such as Spectrum Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, and Site Survey Tools
- Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, APIs)
- Excellent organizational skills and solid team player
- Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high level, complex technical problems
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
