The Planning and Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the following materials areas within assigned business unit, demand planning, product life cycle planning, production scheduling, inventory management, freight and logistics, and warehouse efficiency. In addition, the role is responsible for managing metrics to the agreed-upon scorecard. The Planning and Inventory Control Manager works closely with sales administration, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing management to ensure an effective flow of materials to meet shipment schedules.
