Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Active and valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to independently perform clerical, reception, data management, and basic fiscal tasks to support program operations.
  • Ability to effectively use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Prior reception or frontoffice experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm


Earn $16.67/hour


Position Details


The Site Receptionist plays a vital role in a behavioral health setting by serving as the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors. This position supports clinical services through efficient front-office operations, accurate documentation, and coordination with clinical and administrative teams, while maintaining strict confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and compassion.


Key Responsibilities



  • Greet and check in clients in a traumainformed, respectful manner; manage scheduling, answer phones, and oversee daily front-office operations, including opening and closing the site.
  • Collect, track, and submit billing information, authorizations, treatment plans, and required managed care documentation to support timely reimbursement for behavioral health services.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and release consensual information in compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Submit daily schedules and operational reports, ensuring accuracy and collaboration with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Provide coverage for other service staff as needed, seek supervisory guidance when appropriate, and demonstrate personal and professional accountability in a fastpaced clinical environment.
