ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Counsels and corresponds with partners regarding benefits, policies, and procedures via in-person, phone, email, and Workday cases.

  • Processes partner change of status transactions through Workday.

  • Responsible for termination paperwork and processes.

  • Complies with state and federal benefit regulations.

  • Participates in benefit audits on an on-going basis.

  • Attends orientation as the benefit representative on a rotating basis.

  • Maintains benefit personnel files and completes filing/reporting as required.

  • Answers phones and greets customers entering the department.

  • Is an active participant in department specific meetings and committee(s).

  • Participates in annual benefit projects such as open enrollment/benefit fairs and benefit plan reviews as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Graduate of high school.

Two years of clerical experience, preferably in Human Resources.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

N/A

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Good analytical/interpretive skills
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

Additional Notes:

  • All employees' hours are scheduled based on department needs.

  • Occasional changes to scheduled hours may be necessary due to workload or departmental deadlines.

  • Additional hours may be required during periods of high workload, low staffing, or emergency situations.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

Direct Supervision: Instructions are specific, but the employee has a working knowledge of their regular assignments and can execute them satisfactorily with regular checks.

PAY RANGE:

$22.28 - $88,196.49
