Position Overview: Parts Counterperson

The Heiser Automotive Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Parts Counterperson. We are looking for a professional, customer-focused individual who is detail-oriented, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for front-line customer support, parts sales, and assisting both retail customers and internal service technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians by identifying and selling the correct parts
  • Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Source and order parts as needed
  • Provide accurate price quotes by phone and in person
  • Offer timely updates on order status and shipment tracking
  • Support technicians and service staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Prior automotive parts or service department experience preferred
  • Strong automotive parts knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid, clean Wisconsin driver's license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
