Technical Manager- ASC Modules

Stellantis is initiating modules organization deployment on new NA vehicle programs including several models in several plants, looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our team.

The Technical Manager leads the technical development and the industrialization of the Access, Seats & Cockpit (ASC) from CM until the SOP. He/she is interfaced with the ASC program lead based in Europe and with the vehicle program team based in NA.

The position will own driving the corporate Modular Policy to ensure maximum reuse of key module perimeter components in Access,Seats&Cockpit domain. This will entail working with multiple cross functional organizations such as Purchasing, VEMO, VEHE, EHE and SWE, Vehicle Program Management, DES/CARS design studio, etc.

Manages the technical composition and configuration/complexity (EBOM) of the ASC modules Leads the technical activities of component and subsystem development; management of (DV, PV, tooling kickoff plans, etc.), leads technical escalation and facilitates issues resolution. Leads the decision and change management processes including facilitation of meeting forums and cadence (decision meetings, TWG and CN meetings)

Critical skills:



  • Broad understanding of vehicle construction by systems ( Mechatronics, Electrical, Interior, etc)
  • Leadership of employees, colleagues and cross-functional teams through program milestone deliverables.
  • Understanding of program QCTP management

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • 10+ years of Automotive Engineering experience
  • Ability to work in cross-functional worldwide organization
  • Work effectively and manage non-direct reports across multiple unique disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal , networking and leadership skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation concisely
  • Ability to make quick decisions using sound engineering logic
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and presentation skills are a must
  • Familiarity with mechatronic systems, components, and vehicle testing/validation processes

  • Advanced technical or management degree
