Role Overview

We are seeking a high-impact Lead Recruiter to support high-volume hiring operations. This role acts as a strategic partner to recruiting leadership and as the primary point of guidance for recruiters supporting the assigned business unit.

While this position does not have direct reports, it provides day-to-day direction, problem solving, and operational leadership to ensure hiring targets are achieved. The Lead Recruiter will support a fast-paced environment responsible for filling large volumes of call center roles weekly while maintaining quality and retention standards.

This role will lead functional recruiting meetings, analyze funnel performance, identify hiring risks, and implement solutions to meet aggressive hiring goals. The position may act on behalf of recruiting leadership as needed and serves as a development path for future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Operational Support

  • Serve as the lead for recruiting operations within assigned function
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to recruiters within the function
  • Lead functional recruiting meetings & pipeline reviews
  • Support achievement of aggressive weekly team hiring targets
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for recruiting challenges
  • Promote accountability to hiring goals and service levels
  • Step in for recruiting leadership as needed

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Analyze recruiting funnel health, conversion rates, and time-to-hire metrics
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain hiring velocity
  • Monitor pipeline sufficiency to meet future hiring needs
  • Manage complex or hard-to-fill requisitions and escalations
  • Coordinate hiring readiness with recruiting partners and stakeholders

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with workforce planning to forecast hiring demand
  • Align recruiting strategies with workforce needs
  • Influence stakeholders using data, market insights, and recruiting best practices
  • Act as liaison between recruiting leadership and business operations

Data & Reporting

  • Monitor dashboards and reporting to track functional performance
  • Analyze key metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance
  • Identify risks to hiring goals and recommend corrective actions
  • Run reports using SuccessFactors, Airtable, and internal systems
  • Provide regular updates to recruiting leadership

Sourcing & Talent Strategy

  • Support advanced sourcing strategies for high-volume roles
  • Identify new channels to improve candidate flow and quality
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines for ongoing hiring needs
  • Support recruiters in engaging passive candidates

Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Support implementation of new hiring initiatives or tools
  • Promote consistency in screening quality and candidate experience
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve retention and early-stage success

Required Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume hiring
  • Experience recruiting for field, sales or customer-facing roles referred
  • Demonstrated success supporting aggressive hiring targets
  • Experience leading projects or teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

  • Experience with ATS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Experience using data tools or trackers (e.g., Airtable, Excel, dashboards)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting similar roles similar to assigned function
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed hiring
  • Experience with workforce planning
  • Experience in telecom, home services, utilities, or installation environments
