An excellent career opportunity is available for a Software Scrum Master reporting to the Aires Pittsburgh, PA office.



We are crafting the next generation of digital mobility management tools and looking for a Scrum Master who works side-by-side with R&D, Engineering, UX, Design, QA, Documentation, Support, Training, Solution Architecture, and Sales to build software products that solve user pain points and that work for the business.

This is a full-time position at our corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA (Robinson Township), reporting to Director of Product Management and Design at Aires



Position Responsibilities:




  • Manage multiple Agile Product Teams operating in SAFe Agile model to deliver successful IT solutions on a timely manner
  • Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to by the product team and be able to be a voice of reason and authority; Focus on Minimal Viable Product (MVP) and iterative, incremental delivery
  • Facilitates all agile events as requested or needed; Ensure the product teams are fully functional and productive
  • Capture and report agile team metrics, track progress, recommend and implement remedial actions, as needed
  • Drive Iteration Planning and SoS (Scrum Of Scrum) meetings along with Product Owners and Agile Teams
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory documentation are created and maintained for various internal and external quality audits
  • Remove impediments / blockers, shield the team from external interferences, and enable collaboration across all roles
  • Plan, communicate, get approvals and manage the new software releases of downtime and no down time type
  • Create, Manage, Maintain and Publish the SDLC (Software Lifecycle Development) and PDLC (Product Development Lifecycle) processes and procedures for quality system audits and accreditations
  • Be transparent and develop trust with teams and stakeholders
  • Leverage agile team metrics for continuous improvements
  • Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, value measurement
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing delivery of complex applications
  • Strong agile/scrum competencies and skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and partners
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and courage to suggest changing how we work
  • Proven aptitude to learn quickly and improve processes
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Demonstrating skill in full SDLC delivery across a multitude of delivery methodologies like Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.

Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, or technology disciplines required master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of Scrum Master/Project Manager experience
  • Knowledge of SaFe (SAFe 6 Certification as Scrum Master)
  • Experience in an Agile Software Development environment
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint)


  • Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, distributed environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact


  • Strong sense of personal accountability and courage to suggest changing how we work.
  • Proven aptitude to learn quickly and improve processes.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
  • Well versed and experienced with software development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal - and the ability to modulate your communication appropriately for a broad range of audiences (senior leadership to development teams)
  • Proven experience building trust and collaborating with cross-functional partners to achieve a common objective
  • Proven track record to work autonomously while also taking ownership for actions and results
  • Expert in using MS Office products, and with ability to learn and grasp complex proprietary software solutions
