Position Summary

Role Summary

The Lean Operations and Quality Business Process Transformation Manager is responsible for standardizing, designing, and enabling end-to-end shopfloor manufacturing and quality processes to support SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role partners with other business functional leaders and the Digital IT SAP team to design and develop SAP standard processes that support business needs and enable Division adoption through process governance, documentation, training, analytics, and continuous improvement.

Key Objectives

Refine and enhance the standardized, scalable manufacturing & quality process blueprint aligned to business strategy and The Parker Lean System and Parker Quality Process.

  • Responsible for SAP S/4HANA process design, change management (governance) enablement across the processes within production execution, quality execution, and plant operations.
  • Ensure business readiness and adoption through training, and post-deployment stabilization support.
  • Investigate and enable advanced SAP S/4HANA capabilities as well as other supporting technologies that deliver better productivity and business performance.
  • Support the development of Group and Division implementation resources.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and development of manufacturing and quality operations processes; develop and maintain Parker SAP ERP global process templates, business process requirements documents, and associated work instructions.
  • Partner with the SAP technical team to translate business needs into S/4HANA-enabled end-to-end process designs and deliver standardized processes for Parker divisions; streamline process flow between SAP and integrated Parker standard digital applications, as required.
  • Lead operational change governance by following Parker business process change controls, and manage the business process requirements review with Parker functional leadership for alignment and policy interpretation.
  • Lead and coordinate business functional inputs to deployment readiness, including site readiness assessments and go/no-go recommendations, and partner with IT and site SMEs on post-deployment stabilization/hypercare, as needed.
  • Responsible for designing and delivering a train-the-trainer program to support Group or Division implementation leaders in driving and supporting Division and site implementation.
  • Define and enable operational and quality reporting and dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and enable process improvements through automation and/or advanced SAP ERP capabilities and best practices to improve productivity and compliance across manufacturing and quality.
  • Coordinate with the Parker Corporate Lean Office to conduct business process simplification and standardization Kaizen.
  • Lead and utilize Manufacturing and Quality HPTs to collect and define Parker process requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations, with demonstrated continuous improvement leadership.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional workshops and influencing decisions in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in process documentation, training development and delivery, and operational change governance.
  • SAP ERP knowledge or implementation experience a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time (more required during deployment and hypercare)
