Position Summary

Position Summary

The primary role of the Assembly Technician is to assemble large and small parts into finished products by reading work instructions and other documents, while maintaining quality and meeting production schedules.

Your Primary Responsibilities in Elevating our Operations & People Experiences:

The following represents the essential and most significant duties of this position and is not meant to be exhaustive; other duties may apply:

  • Assemble finished products using various part sizes with a strong attention to detail.

  • Follow detailed work instructions and related documentation to maintain high-quality standards and meet production schedules.

  • Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping.

  • Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Utilize basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as required.

  • Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemical, substances and materials in the waste stream, where applicable.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures including policies, work practices.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., quality, safety improvement, HPT participation).

  • Follow standard work, Day by Hour, TIB, and other operational metrics.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and basic division).
  • Ability to effectively read, interpret, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
  • Flexibility and cooperation in performing other duties as assigned (will work in various cells).
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • One (1) year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional skills/experience are a plus!

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $19.76/hr to $23.8/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
