Interstates is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Welder to join our Sioux Center, IA manufacturing team. This role will provide direct support to Interfab, as defined in the primary job duties section, below. An ideal candidate will be results driven, safety-minded, and work well with a team. Responsibilities: Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude Takes the initiative to learn systems and processes Takes a proactive approach to problem solving Promotes building good teams Positively embraces change Supports the company values Completes the following: Mig Welding (wire welding) Cuts steel (band saw, sheet, plasma cut) Torch work Bends steel (break press) Read prints Qualifications: Excellent verbal communication Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment and build effective relationships Display a positive attitude Strong attention to detail Be results driven and safety minded Ability to routinely lift 50-75lbs Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
