Overview The* Home Loan Specialist I* is an entrylevel role supporting various channels within the organization. This position plays a key role in facilitating efficient processes that align with business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be focused within a specific function/channel or span across multiple areas. Responsibilities * Perform routine data entry and validation tasks * Initiate thirdparty orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood certification, credit, etc.) * Review and validate loan documents for accuracy and completeness * Handle routine calls, emails, and chat inquiries * Assign and distribute workloads as needed * Monitor work queues and intervene to resolve issues * Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite processing and issue resolution Skills * Customer Service * Data Entry * Mortgage & Loan Processing * Administrative Support Qualifications * Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Proven ability to deliver timely and accurate information in a fastpaced environment * Strong critical thinking, problemsolving, mathematical skills, and sound judgment * Effective time management skills to meet deadlines * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with computers and mainstream applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.) * Financial services or mortgage industry experience preferred * General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations Additional Information * Candidates with little to no relevant experience will be considered - excellent opportunity for recent college graduates to begin their career with a reputable company * If no degree, candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.
