The Opportunity....

As a Field Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and promoting our Health & Safety Program for field service operations. You will partner with field service teams and leadership to ensure a safe working environment, full compliance with regulatory and client requirements, and continuous improvement in safety performance. This position champions our safety culture and supports both proactive safety measures and responsive incident management.

You will make an impact by...



  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs:Assist in creating and rolling out comprehensive Health & Safety programs for all field service activities, ensuring alignment with company values and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance:Ensure full compliance with local, client, aviation, and construction safety requirements (e.g., NFPA, DOT, OSHA).
  • Risk Management:Prepare, review, and maintain Risk Assessments and Safety Plans.
  • Site Inspections & Audits:Conduct and document regular HSE audits and site inspections, including support for client safety audits and escorting safety teams.
  • Training & Inductions:Deliver HSE induction and toolbox talks both virtually and in person to all personnel and subcontractors.
  • Incident Response:Lead thorough incident and near-miss investigations, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and track completion.
  • Reporting:Maintain HSE logs, track statistics, and prepare weekly performance reports.
  • Emergency Preparedness:Coordinate and lead emergency drills.
  • Continuous Improvement:Leverage employee feedback to drive safety culture and process improvements.
  • PPE & Inventory:Select and manage PPE inventory for the service team.
  • Regulatory Awareness:Stay current on all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.



The talent we want to inspire has...



  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
  • Current CPR & First Aid certification
  • 5+ years experience as a Field Safety Officer/Engineer, especially on airfield or similar industrial/construction projects
  • Proven knowledge of aviation/airside, tower, and DOT safety requirements
  • Strong experience with hazard recognition, safety risk management, and conducting risk assessments
  • Familiarity with NFPA and OSHA standards
  • Ability to prepare HSE reports and effectively communicate safety issues
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record


This would be a plus but not a must!



  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading proactive safety cultures and root cause analyses
  • Previous supervisory or safety management experience
  • Qualified in Fall Protection and Confined Space.
  • Previous experience with basic electrical safety a plus


Additional Information:



  • Primarily field-based with routine use of standard office and presentation equipment
  • Occasional exposure to construction site conditions and physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Up to 80% travel required to client offices, meetings, and job sites
