* Operates a variety of cutting, generating grinding polishing, cleaning equipment and performs related job functions.
* Operates one or more cutting, generating, grinding, polishing or cleaning equipment according to written process specifications, as well as to production standards.
* Performs in-process visual and mechanical inspections; initiates corrective action or informs Group Leader or Supervisor of deviations from standards.
* Performs TPM on required equipment, updates sheets as necessary.
* Performs setups, start ups/shut downs and makes adjustments to machines.
* Completes labor sheets, routers, log sheets, process forms and similar reports and forms.
* Assists in the training of less qualified operators.
* Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
* Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.
* Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
* Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
* Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures Your Profile
