Business Finance Manager

The Global Finance Group drives financial strategies based on expert understanding of Lam's breakthrough technologies, the semiconductor market, and the global business environment. They manage our company's financials and relationships with our investor community to ensure we have the strong financial foundation to fuel innovation and growth

The Finance team at Lam plays a meaningful role in supporting the financial health and decision-making of the organization. This role will partner closely with senior leadership from Global Product and Lab Operations, drive proactive strategic business influence by providing data-driven analysis for decision making and identifying cost-saving opportunities to optimize resource allocation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with different groups within and outside of Business Finance. This is an individual contributor position.

• Optimize operating cost models by collaborating with cross-functional teams to apply appropriate assumptions, and providing detailed analysis of lab or business activities, cost components, and site comparison
• Analyze lab financial data and identify spending patterns and trends, convert into actionable insights and provide recommendations
• Create and support various dashboards to monitor performance metrics and support business operations
• Build trusted business relationships, gain deep understanding of the business, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Support financial cycles and presentations: quarter-end close, quarterly reviews, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Balance Sheet Review (BSR), and long-range planning
• Identify and lead business process improvement initiatives for productivity optimization and business alignment

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, MBA preferred, with minimum 7-10 years of Finance experience
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills to evaluate complex financial data and challenging projects in a matrix organization
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate and build positive relationships with others
• Foundational understanding of US GAAP and financial systems (SAP or similar ERP)

• Experience withdata visualization tools(Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Workday Adaptive
• Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries
• Flexible schedule to accommodate non-US time zones

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
