We are looking for SAP Release Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will own and govern the end-to-end change and release management processes in our Service Integration and Management (SIAM) operating model. You will also coordinate continuous demand management process (JIRA) in SAP continuous development pipeline, as well as ensure governance, predictability, and quality of releases across complex international application landscape, working closely with our internal teams and multiple external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Govern change and release management end-to-end in a multi-provider environment with internal and external service delivery teams
  • Develop and maintain standards and common practices, including: Change types and definitions, Approval levels per change type, Notification periods, and operational guardrails
  • Administer the Change Advisory Board (CAB) (agenda, decision capture, follow-ups, communications)
  • Review change records and implementations for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with corporate standards and policy
  • Ensure release planning considers all impacted parties (service providers and internal stakeholders), with proper coordination and scheduling
  • Ensure test integration between service delivery teams is defined and executed appropriately
  • Maintain a holistic view of the release and change calendar, dependencies, and risk across platforms and business processes
  • Understand and communicate likely impacts to both technology and functional stakeholder communities
  • Ensure effective integration with other business and IT processes (e.g., incident/problem, asset/configuration, service operations) Define, implement, and monitor metrics for process effectiveness and efficiency; drive stakeholder alignment at process, people, and tool levels
  • Continuously analyze performance data to identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Foster productive partnerships with internal delivery teams and vendors to ensure adherence to service management processes
  • Report and present findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • Maintain a broad understanding of technologies used in Fiskars' environment across infrastructure and applications

Skills, knowledge & experience Experience

  • Experience in managing release/change for SAP and integrated enterprise landscapes (interfaces, dependencies, testing coordination across platforms).
  • Strong data-driven operating style: defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs for change success, lead time, emergency change rate, change failure rate, and operational stability.
  • Process certification in line of ITIL v4 certification beyond Foundation (or equivalent depth of practice).
  • Jira administration/certification and/or strong experience designing workflows, reports, metrics, and governance controls in ITSM.
  • Experience working in a SIAM / multi-provider operating model (service integrator mindset, vendor coordination, adherence management).
  • Exposure to modern delivery ways of working: Agile/DevOps, release trains, environment management, and automation (e.g., integrating release governance with CI/CD where relevant). Commercial and service management acumen: budgeting/chargeback logic, SLA/OLA understanding, and contract or supplier negotiation experience
  • Fluent English skills
