Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenField Marketing Managerto join our team. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation through the planning and execution of impactful field marketing activities and events. This role bridges the gap between marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment of marketing initiatives with business objectives and go-to-market needs for maximum impact.

What You'll Do

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement field marketing strategies and plans that align with the overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize key markets, events, and opportunities to maximize brand visibility and lead generation.

Strong Emphasis on Event Management:

  • Plan, organize, and manage North American custom field marketing events (including physical and virtual components) such as roadshows, customer events, dinners, as well as activations that are part of broader industry conferences and tradeshows.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor/agency management, budget allocation, and on-site execution.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to drive pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement.
  • Collaborate with Global Events team and support Field Marketing teams as needed for EMEA and APAC events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, demand generation, product & partner marketing, customer success, and executive center of excellence, to ensure event alignment with broader campaigns.
  • Work closely with Global Events team across all aspects of event planning to maintain brand & event experience consistency across Informa TechTarget events.
  • Ensure events are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Strategic Sales Alignment and Pipeline Acceleration:

  • Partner closely with Sales Teams to identify high-priority accounts and buying teams that would benefit from targeted marketing efforts.
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies, including personalized event experiences, gifting and broader marketing communications to accelerate pipeline opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales Team and the wider Marketing Team, ensuring alignment on target accounts, buying groups, and campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with Informa TechTarget Go-to-Market teams to ensure marketing efforts are tailored to their specific needs and objectives.

Campaign Development:

  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to align campaigns for specific market segments.
  • Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns designed for specific market segments.
  • Develop and manage content and messaging tailored by market.

Internal and External Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between corporate marketing, sales, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners.
  • Ensure all deliverables are met to the highest standard.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Partner with sales teams to ensure activities generate high-quality leads and opportunities.
  • Work with centralized marketing & operations teams to monitor and analyze effectiveness of field marketing initiatives, leveraging data to optimize strategies & tactics.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on campaign and event performance, lead generation, and ROI.
Qualifications

What You Bring:

Education:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful field marketing activities that drive business results.

Experience

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong writing skills to craft and position marketing materials.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional account experiences.
  • Experience and/or orientation with event management software, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo).
  • Analytical skills to measure performance and ROI effectively.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively position results and strategy to marketing and business management leaders.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as needed to support on-site event execution.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for event-related activities

The salary range for this role is $98,000 - $130,000 per anum.
