A Day in the Life of the

The Strategic Sales Channel Manager serves as a critical link between strategic planning and frontline execution. This role leads, supports, coaches, and enables Business Partner, Affiliate, and Retail sales teams while translating organizational growth strategies into practical, measurable actions in the field. The manager collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to refine operating playbooks, sales strategies, incentives, and sales motions - ensuring teams are focused on the highestvalue opportunities and executing consistency. The Manager, Multi-Channel Business Partner develops, adapts, and implements strategic and tactical execution plans that proactively drive sustainable growth and revenue in alignment with the company's performance objectives.

  • Lead and support assigned Multi-Channel sales teams to drive revenue growth and productivity.

  • Develop and Maintain Industry Wide relationship deepening New Sales Channel Growth Contribution.

  • Achieve channel sales performance to budget (Subs, LOBs, Revenue).

  • Coach and Support Business Partners and Internal Team reps and frontline managers on execution of sales strategy, pipeline management, and deal progression.

  • Reinforce sales methodology, operating rhythms, and performance expectations in the field.

  • Act as a strategic escalation point for complex deals and business challenges.

  • Translate corporate and sales strategy into field-ready plans, plays, and priorities, Improving Channel productivity.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to design and deploy territory, coverage, and capacity models.

  • Drive adoption of new sales motions, offers, and GTM initiatives.

  • Support rollout of compensation plans, quotas, and incentive programs.

  • Standardize processes, playbooks, and best practices across markets.

  • Monitor field performance metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, productivity, and attainment).

  • Identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities across teams and territories.

  • Develop action plans to address underperformance and scale best practices.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Ensure tight feedback loops between HQ and Sales Teams.

  • Channel POC for Mobile and New Products.

  • Partner with Marketing on demand strategy, lead flow, and campaign execution in the field.

  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, quota setting, and ROI analysis.

  • Work with Sales Enablement and Operations on tools, processes, and training.

  • Serve as the "voice of the field" back to strategy and leadership teams.

  • Actively support, promote, and advance all aspects of Astound's Inclusion and Belonging work, recognizing it as a business priority, including creating a work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, heard, and empowered.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales, sales strategy, revenue operations, or field sales leadership.

  • 3+ years managing or directly influencing field sales / Omni-channel teams.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Experience in Direct Sales, SMB, or subscription-based revenue models.

  • Prior experience in territory design, compensation planning, or GTM strategy is preferred.

  • Prior experience with CRM and Sales Analytics tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify performance gaps, and surface actionable insights.

  • Skilled in developing and delivering clear, compelling performance reports and recommendations for sales leadership.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional partners, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, ensuring consistent execution of sales initiatives and operating rhythms.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Major in Business, Marketing, Strategy, or related fields.

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $137,000 plus opportunities for benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
