Project Monitoring SME

The Project Monitoring SME will perform the following duties, as assigned:

  • Work with Federal Program Managers and Federal Project Officers to establish and mature financial assistance functions
  • Define necessary resources and budget requirements to effectively execute program objectives
  • Develop and implement robust operational processes
  • Standardize program documentation
  • Create new documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Provide support in responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and draft management decision letters
  • Help establish and guide consistent communication strategies and support mechanisms for project recipients
  • Develop comprehensive reporting on project portfolio accomplishments, progress, and identified risks
  • Be instrumental in documenting and answering recipient questions and addressing project/program issues through the compilation and maintenance of a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) database

Position Requirements:

* US Citizen

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Political Science or related discipline

* At least 25 years of relevant professional experience

* Significant experience in federal project/program management
