Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and quick support when issues arise. This is an armed, driving post requiring a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification, backed by a caring, integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floor areas, entrances and exits, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and other security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls for service, and potential criminal activity, and coordinate with law enforcement and/or management as needed.
  • Monitor CCTV and other security-related systems, identify suspicious activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and evidence documentation, and handle the assigned firearm and other issued equipment in accordance with policy and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 plus years combined law enforcement, corrections, military and/or 5 plus years armed security experience.
  • Be 21 plus years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
