Job Description

This part time position at 70% FTE (28 hours per week) would be responsible for the following:

Essential duties:

Receiving packages in the Chemical Storeroom, emailing recipients, taking monthly inventory, manning Chemistry Office front desk, clerical, cleaning work areas, and other duties as assigned. May also include assisting with teaching and research laboratories.

Additional duties include:

  • Proactively seek to improve office by implementing new and existing tasks and/or projects.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in a confidential setting.
  • File and maintain records accurately and efficiently.
  • Data entry, mailing and other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Open/Close office responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00 per hour

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
