VISION GROUP MANAGEMENT

  • Lead customer Vision Groups by partnering with vendors on developing effective meetings
  • Hold vendors accountable to uphold the commitments outlined in their contracts
  • Lead customer retention and recruitment by maintaining group membership lists and engaging with Vision Group members and prospects
  • Manage the budget for all meetings including vendor contracts, vendor expenses, and other event fees
  • Partner with PCG event planning staff to choose event locations, event entertainment and other details, and hotel contract coordination
  • Attend all Vision Group meetings in-person to provide key updates, capture group insight, and share opportunities and concerns with the sales team.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence on other industry peer mentor groups (commonly referred to as "20 Groups")
  • Identify customer needs and partner with Vision Group vendors and internal sales and marketing leadership to provide robust content and speakers at meetings

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Maintain contact with key internal and external customers to gain market insight to understand the needs of the customer and provide solutions
  • Maintain contact with key suppliers and experts in the industry to understand their capabilities and innovations to better serve focus segments
  • Identify and position appropriate offerings for target customer segments
  • Support the sales organization at the strategic as well as tactical level through targeting, lead generation, sales tool development, and collaborative selling

STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

  • Build and execute the strategy for Business Services across multiple segments and channels
  • Partner with Sales Excellence and Training to prioritize internal and external needs and provide content and support
  • Prioritize and coordinate strategic imperatives for Business Services
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence for a coherent and dynamic strategy

COMMUNICATION

  • Ensure effective sales and marketing tools are available for internal and external use
  • Ensure effective communication of Vision Group calendar, agendas, and other key details
  • Create and communicate content that outlines components of the A-Plus program including business training, Vision Groups, alliances, and more

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience

Preferred:

  • Degree in business related field preferred
  • MBA

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of B2B sales and/or marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Automotive industry experience
