Food Distribution Tech

Full Time, First Shift

Responsible for performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering services functions that may include preparation of food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment and pantries.

Job Duties:

• Inventories and maintains necessary food and other supplies to ensure an efficient operation of Food Service and company owned vending.
• Orders food and supplies based upon product specifications and ordering protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and sanitation with refrigeration temperatures, hand washing, use of gloves and label & dating of food.
• Serves meals and/or prepare for delivery at times, using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, attractive and palatable. Tastes all food items prepared.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Requirements:

• Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred.
• One to three months' experience
