Now, we're looking for an Operations Manager to help lead the next generation of new products within our Data Solutions manufacturing operations in Anoka, Minnesota.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role within the value stream-balancing daily execution with continuous improvement, while supporting new product launches in a fast-growing, highly visible business.

You will:

  • Lead and develop teams to ensure resources, talent, and capabilities align with key requirements for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

  • Drive day-to-day production execution within the value stream, ensuring commitments are met while identifying and implementing countermeasures and recovery plans when targets are missed.

  • Support new product introduction and growth, partnering cross-functionally to scale processes, equipment, and staffing as the business evolves.

  • Lead and participate in kaizen events and cross-functional projects focused on expansion, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and district sales teams to respond to customer needs and serve as a key leader in customer interactions, engaging directly with customers and maintaining strong, transparent communication.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, engagement, and hands-on problem solving, where associates are encouraged to participate and innovate.

YOU HAVE:

We're looking for a strong operations leader who can navigate complexity, lead change, and build high-performing teams.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred).

  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations experience, ideally in a growing or evolving environment with a strong project management background

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, kaizen, continuous improvement) and the adaptability to deploy new processes in a changing business.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and leadership levels.

  • Proven conflict resolution skills, using sound judgment to align differing perspectives and reach effective solutions.

  • The ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Excellent planning, organization, and delegation skills to manage priorities and deliver results.

  • A passion for mentoring, developing, and growing people.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
