Job Title: UAT Tester
Location: Columbus, OH.

Role Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Tester with 5 years of experience to join our Testing Center of Excellence (COE).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end UAT testing, working closely with product managers and supporting both US and India teams.
  • This role requires strong expertise in manual test design, test case development, defect management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute end-to-end UAT testing to validate business requirements and ensure product readiness.
  • Collaborate with product managers throughout the SDLC to design and develop test cases aligned with acceptance criteria.
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases in QTest (test repository).
  • Document and report all testing activities, ensuring transparency and accuracy in results.
  • Manage the Defect Lifecycle, from identification through resolution, ensuring timely closure.
  • Participate in panel interviews for the first round of candidate evaluations.
  • Support India team during US hours, ensuring seamless collaboration across geographies.
  • Work closely with the Testing COE to uphold project delivery standards and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5 years of UAT testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of test design, test case writing, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Jira, QTest, or ALM for test management and defect tracking.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in Defect Management Lifecycle and resolution processes.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers to ensure test cases are developed early in the project lifecycle.
  • Strong sense of project delivery and accountability for testing outcomes.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Java/Selenium.
  • Experience in automation frameworks to complement manual UAT efforts.
Additional Notes:
  • This is a manual testing-focused role; no access to LLM suites.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in UAT as a core requirement.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills are essential for success in this role.
